This sewing pouch was a fast utility project to keep my go-to tools organized and portable. I designed it with several vertical pockets to hold scissors, pens, seam rippers, and my rotary cutter. It uses two cotton prints—lemons for the interior and a floral print for the exterior and pockets.
The construction is straightforward: two rectangles, stitched together, then stitched together to form individual compartments. I added a strap to the side so the pouch can be rolled and secured easily. It’s a lightweight solution that holds its shape without needing interfacing.
This design isn’t fussy or overbuilt, but it gets the job done. All the tools I use most often now have a single place to live, and it rolls up neatly when not in use.
